Winner of the The People's Choice Workshop

The People Choice Workshop to be held on Tuesday, June 4th at 3:30pm in room 420 will be...

"Open Forum:  Safe Needle Technology"
Moderated by, Susie Jendrowski, Research Associate, Merck & Co., Inc

Come and bring your experience! Are you using safe needle technology? If not, why aren’t you? If so, what is working? And what doesn’t work?   We’d also love to hear from vendors that offer this type of product to let us know how available is this technology?  Associated with a hospital or medical school? Do you use this technology? Come share why and your successes. Know someone in human medicine? Bring them along to help us understand what is used in human medicine and why.

This interactive and informative forum will explore the use of safe needle technology in the laboratory animal field.

It is about HELPING OTHERS

Hurricane Sandy hit the North-Eastern United States at the end of October in 2012.  Over 6 months have passed and the area is still feeling the effects.

Atlantic City was one of the worst areas hit by Sandy and the area is still recovering.

The Statue of Liberty has been closed and will not open until 4th of July!  Repairs and full opening of Ellis Island is still unknown.

NYU continues to rebuild with the help of the Laboratory Animal Science and Research Communities surrounding them with support.

How has YOUR hometown and place of work been affected?  Many that attend Tribranch have a personal story (or FIVE) they have shared since October.

The TB13 committee is included in this and have planned for fundraiser efforts to occur.  A silent auction and a PPE Fashion Show will occur during TB13 to raise funds to benefit the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.

If you want to help, contact us and plan on bringing items for the Silent Auction!
