What’s Your Clinical or Husbandry Diagnosis?

“What’s Your Clinical or Husbandry Diagnosis?”

Within the specialty of laboratory animal research, unique medical cases and husbandry issues arise that are specific to caring for animals maintained for biomedical research. This interactive session for technicians and veterinarians will emulate the popular “What’s Your Diagnosis?” program held at the National AALAS meeting each year.  Abstracts for this session and final presentations should follow a logical manner from presentation of the clinical case or husbandry conundrum to final diagnosis and solutions.  Titles of presentations should offer a description of the problem to be reviewed, but should not include the final outcome. These scenarios will be presented with input requested from the audience members. Animal care & research technicians and veterinary residents in training are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts. Accepted presenters will be granted free registration to the conference. Abstracts are due February 15, 2013 and should be submitted to Dr. F. Claire Hankenson (fclaire@upenn.edu).  We look forward to your participation!!

We are also still accepting abstracts for the General topic, Safety topic, and Poster sessions…
To submit an abstract, simply fill out the abstract form and email to Paula Clifford, Program Chair, at paula@psbr.org (presentations and workshops) or Denise DiFrancesco, Poster Chair, at difrancesco@wistar.org (posters).
